I took the boys to preschool story hour at the library this week. Tysen is really starting to act like a big boy now and he was actively participating. It seems like it was only a few months ago that he would cry every week because the loud music scared him. Matt and I also decided that we would enroll him in gymnastics class for the first time this fall session. Alexa and Gavin have been going for a few years now, but Tysen has been our sensitive child until recently and we didn't feel like he would participate. Matt took the 3 older kids to gymnastics on Wednesday and they all did wonderful. Matt said that Tysen wasn't too interested in the warm-up or stretching, but once they got started with the trampoline he was having a blast. Hopefully next time Matt can get some pictures.
Tysen is sitting on the rug with big brother, Gavin. He used to cling to me from the moment we walked in the door so I am very happy to only hold Bowen now and watch the older boys have fun.
This picture of Tysen cracks me up. I told him to just smile without saying "cheese" and he looked confused. So I told him to look at Mommy and I showed him. He's trying so hard to smile without saying "cheese!" I had no idea it would be so challenging for him!
Gavin is thrilled to use his new umbrella on this rainy day.
