Alexa goes to Hoover Dam

We took Alexa to Hoover Dam today. (The not-so-famous Hoover Dam in Ohio)
She was very excited to see all the geese.

She was laughing on the swing!

I love cuddling with her when she's asleep.

Can you see my 15 week baby bump?

This video shows a little bit of "Alexa Attitude." She was mad at Daddy because she had been "talking" to Uncle Brian on the telephone and she started to eat the phone. She got very upset when Daddy took it away from her. She almost tries to crawl after him, but she gets frustrated with crawling too. Its tough being a baby....

Matt just finished an Olympic distance triathlon at Antrim Park.

Alexa was diagnosed with an ear infection on Thursday and given a prescription for Amoxicillin. By the fourth dose, she broke out in a red raised bumpy rash all over her body. Somebody's allergic to penicillin just like her daddy! (This picture was taken 36 hours after she got the rash, so it's improved a lot.)

Alexa's got 102 degree temperature from her ear infection. She's not feeling well. Luckily a cool bath and infant Tylenol brought the fever down quickly. We don't have many photos of her when she's not smiling.

Look at those big teeth!

happy girl

We got all ready to go to the pool and while we were walking there, it started
to downpour. We had to turn around and come home.

Look at those adorable thighs!

Alexa is all over the place trying to explore everything.

Alexa has a BIG announcement!

We're Pregnant!

This ultrasound image shows the baby at 10 weeks. The heart rate was a healthy and normal 170 beats/minute. The baby is due on January 19th, 2009.

Alexa all tuckered out after playing with her toys in her pack 'n play.

Since our family meeting where Alexa learned she's going to be a big sister soon, she's started to practice picking on Gabbi. Here she is reaching to pull the hair between Gabbi's toes.
