Thank you for coming to visit, Aunt Christina and Aunt Diana! We had so much fun with you this weekend. We wish that we could see you more often. Thanks for all the toys you brought us! Love, Alexa and Gavin

We competed in the Toyota Challenge Triathlon today! Gena and Diana finished the sprint distance (0.6 mile swim, 12 mile bike, 3.1 mile run) and Matthew finished the half triathlon (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run).
Gena 2 hrs 4 min
Diana 2 hrs 8 min
Matthew 6 hrs 1 min
Here we are before the start. We were all dreading getting into the lake! It was a very difficult swim because the water was very choppy.

Here is Diana just after she finished the swim. She is running up the hill to the transition area where she will put on her shoes and jump on the bike.

After Diana and I finished, we took the kids to the play area since we knew it would be a few hours before Matthew was done. Alexa and Gavin enjoyed the swings. Alexa was excited about the balloon until she sat on it and popped it!

Diana and I were pretty tired after the triathlon. We tried to nap on our blankets.

Here's Christina and Diana (and the kids in the stroller) waiting to spot Matthew coming down the home stretch.

The kids took a nice long nap.

Here's Matthew after the swim.

Crossing the finish line! Way to go, Matthew! We are so proud of you! You did awesome!

We had a football party today! The Buckeyes won 30 - 0.

Matthew's sisters, Christina and Diana are visiting us this weekend. The kids are enjoying spending time with them.

Follow the leader.

Alexa's eyes got huge once I brought out the veggie tray. I made sure that she got her own dip container because she likes to double dip (as you will see in the video posted below). She would dip her veggie in the ranch, lick it all off, and then dip again. Then she would put the veggie back on the tray and pick a different one to dip!

Notice how the ranch container is now upside down...

Poor Gavin only gets a Biter Biscuit while the rest of us have brownies!

Gavin is cuddling with Aunt Diana.

The kids needed a bath after the game because Alexa smelled like ranch and Gavin was covered in biscuit goo.
