It was cooler today, but still nice enough for a quick walk and trip to the park!

Pretty in Pink

The kids love going up and down on the teeter totter.

She was excited to swing on a "big girl" swing.

Our dog, Gabbi, went with us to the park. We noticed that she was staring at something in the distance and we were surprised at what was going on in the empty baseball field behind us. An unusual sight for living in the city! (I filmed this clip with my digital camera and the zoom isn't very clear. If you can't tell, those are deer running and playing!)

I ordered this tee-shirt for Alexa on eBay. She went crazy when she saw it! She cries every time that I've had to take it off of her!

Our dog ate Alexa's sunglasses last summer. This morning she was telling me that the sun was hurting her eyes, so I gave her an old pair of mine. They were a little big, but she was happy. Maybe the Easter bunny will need to bring her a new pair in her Easter basket this year...

This is Alexa's new favorite stuffed animal (it changes almost daily). She's calling him Squirt. Squirt is a character from Finding Nemo. I believe that this turtle is actually a character from another movie called Over the Hedge, but Alexa's doesn't notice the difference.

Just hanging out with the family after supper. We are all cuddling up and watching Finding Nemo, the kids' favorite movie. We were snacking on some apples and I now see that Alexa left the peel on the pillow.

On our walk this morning, we found some geese in the pond.

Gavin wasn't too happy that I made him stay in the wagon. I knew that he'd head straight for the water if I let him out!

Time to head home for lunch!

Alexa was excited to take Nemo swimming.

On the way to the pool, I had to run inside Target to buy some more swim diapers for Gavin. I happened to see these cute watering cans in the dollar bin and I thought the kids would have fun playing with them in the pool. I was right!

We had a very fun day at the pool today. Alexa and Gavin just love the water.

We are really looking forward to this summer. It's really fun now that Gavin is old enough to play with Alexa. He tries his hardest to keep up with her and he wants to do everything that she can do!
