Meet Chef Alexa

Alexa and I tried a new recipe on Saturday.  She enjoyed it because it was mostly kid-friendly and she was able to do all the steps (except put it in the oven).
It was called "Pull-apart Pizza Bread."
Getting the ingredients ready and pouring the dipping oil into the bowl.
We needed to separate the dough into bite-size chunks.  I washed Alexa's kid-safe scissors and they worked wonderfully.  She did an awesome job cutting all the pizza dough.
Then she tossed the dough chunks in the dipping oil and made a layer on the bottom of our pan.
Then she made a layer of turkey pepperonis followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese.
We repeated the steps until we ran out of dough.  Now its ready to go in the oven.  We can't wait to see it when it's cooked!
The finished pizza bread!
We served it with some marinara dipping sauce and the whole family enjoyed it.  (We made a special one for Tysen and Bowen without the cheese.)
