Family Movie Night

Wednesday was a fun day for our family.  I had the day off work because we had a tour scheduled at an elementary school that Alexa may be starting kindergarten at next fall.  That was exciting and she liked it, but she was mostly excited to get home so we could start Family Movie Night.  The kids have been looking forward to this all week.  The featured movie was "Peter Pan."  The kids and I had never seen it but since the kids love the popular kids show on the Disney Channel called "Jake and the Neverland Pirates," they are familiar with most of the main characters like Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Tick Tock Croc, and Peter Pan.  Once we got home, I made supper and tried a new recipe, chicken marsala.  I told the kids that pirates love to eat chicken marsala because we were going with a pirate theme.  My kids will eat just about anything, but since they thought this was pirate food, they enjoyed it even more.

I know I said this was pirate theme, but this is everyday Gavin.  He's still stuck in the Spider-man phase!  So funny, he even sleeps in this mask.

The kids enjoyed the movie.  They really laughed every time the croc about ate Captain Hook.
Gabbi is just waiting for the kids to drop some popcorn on the floor.
