Movie Theater

Alexa and Gavin love the Madagascar movies and they have been wanting to see the new one that is showing in theaters now. I decided to try taking them all by myself this morning. The early bird prices were pretty cheap so I figured worst case scenario, we'd just have to leave. Well, it went really great! Alexa and Gavin were very excited and listened really well. Tysen wasn't sure what to think. This is his third time seeing a movie in a theater, but I don't think he remembered the other times. Bowen never cried, but he did startle a few times because of the loud noises. Since the theater was dark, I just nursed him and he was comforted. I was thankful that there were only 9 other people in the whole theater (besides us) and the children far outnumbered adults. Since the handicapped row was not being used, I just parked Tysen's stroller there so he would be comfortable (and unable to escape). Alexa and Gavin shared a seat so that their combined weight would be enough to keep them from being folded up!
Now the kids want to see the movies Brave and Ice Age 4.
Since I had my hands full with Bowen and the stroller, Alexa was in charge of the popcorn. She walked very carefully and didn't spill any!
