Christmas 2014

Christmas Eve night in our matching family Christmas pajamas!
 Alexa 7 years old
 Gavin 5 years old
 Tysen 4 years old
 Bowen 2 years old

 Erika 6 months old
 My sweet kids!
We were so happy to have my mom and Calvin stay with us for Christmas.  We loved sharing all the excitement with them!
The kids are tearing down the stairs on Christmas morning!
Checking out the new train set and seeing their stockings.

Gavin really wanted Pokemon cards this year because there are some boys on his bus that trade cards.
Baby Erika and I in our matching pajamas
Erika loved all the noise and action.
 "Will you open this, please?"
 Getting sleepy already!
This helicopter may have been Bowen's favorite gift.
Alexa got new Hello Kitty roller skates!
And she was thrilled with this Nutcracker.  (Apparently her music teacher at school has a collection of nutcrackers and a few days before Christmas Alexa told me that she was really hoping that Santa would bring her one.  Luckily, I found this guy in the dollar bin at Target.  Score! She loves him.)

Gavin had asked Santa for a really fast racing car that was red.

Alexa asked Santa for the pink sea horse and Santa brought her two sea horses!

Look at this mess!

Immediately after opening presents, Alexa got to work writing in everyone's birthdays on her calendar.

Tysen is helping Erika open her presents.  She got a pink baby swing for our outside swing set.  Once the weather warms up, she's going to love playing outside with the big kids.

Anyone want to take a guess how many times these bats have turned into weapons and as a result ended up in time-out?

I loved spending Christmas with my mom!  What a special treat.

Tysen got this hover craft toy that Matt is enjoying.

Gavin loves his Raphael bike helmet.

This birdhouse has a clear back so that when it suctions to our window, the kids can see the birds and nest inside without disturbing the birds.  What a cool gift from cousins Masen and Hudson.

The last gift- the family gift.  We ran out of wrapping paper!

When people find out that we have 5 kids, we usually get comments such as "You have your own basketball team!" Well, now I can't wait to start playing basketball and shooting hoops in the driveway with my little basketball team.  This hoop is adjustable, it comes down to 7.5ft and then back up to regulation height.  I think the kids should be able to make some hoops.  Can't wait to get it put together and get some warmer weather!
