Alexa's Surprise 5th Birthday Party

Alexa went out on a date with Uncle Brian on Saturday.  He took her shopping , out for lunch, and to see the movie "Hotel Transylvania."  Alexa had no idea that while they were gone, we were busy cleaning and decorating the house for her surprise Hello Kitty party.
The boys are watching for Alexa and Uncle Brian to get back so we can get the party started!
Some more of the little touches that I made
I can't believe how perfect the cupcakes and cake turned out.  They were so cute!  I knew that Alexa was going to love them.  They were made by my friend, Carrie.  Check her out!  She's amazing.

We decorated the whole downstairs!  It looked great.

This is the basket of kitty ear & bow headbands that I made.  Alexa wanted these instead of party hats so that we could all look like Hello Kitty!
These are the treat bags that I made for Alexa's party guests.
Alexa had a great time with Uncle Brian and she was surprised when they arrived at our house.  Her friends arrived at the same time that she did so it was perfect- or should I say "Purr-fect!"

Alexa loved the giant Hello Kitty balloon that was bigger than she was!  I've never seen a helium balloon this big, but it was perfect for our party.

Bowen was such a good boy for the whole party.  He even wore the headband, just for Alexa.
What a good uncle Brian is!  Alexa was excited that we all wore them.

Time for face paint!  The kids loved this, even my boys!

Morgan and Alexa are only 2 months apart.  She's a big Hello Kitty fan, too.

Tysen held very still.

So did Taylor!  Such good little kids.

Time to open presents

Alexa got lots of great Hello Kitty stuff!  She loved everything.

Morgan and Taylor gave Alexa this fun Hello Kitty karaoke machine with disco lights!  They had a blast playing with it.

Gavin even said his ABC's into the microphone.
Time for dessert!
The lovely cake!  So pretty!

Playing with the karaoke machine (does this thing have a volume control? Yikes!)
