Mall

I braved the mall today with all four kids. It was going pretty well...went to a few stores, picked up portraits, had some more pictures taken because I didn't get what I needed last time, and had lunch at the food court. Then I decided to reward the kids' good behavior by letting them play at the malls indoor play area. They were having a blast, running and climbing and burning off lots of energy. But then Bowen got fussy and wanted to nurse. Not a problem, I had my nursing cover, so I sat down on the bench to nurse him. Well, after a few minutes, wild man Tysen decided to escape. He took off running, out the play area and into the crowded mall! I felt like everyone was watching the crazy mom that couldn't catch her toddler. After I caught him, I gave him one more chance and he thought it would be funny to run off again. This time I was waiting by the exit and grabbed him. Then it was time to go. On the way home, I was thinking that the day was somewhat successful because at least I didn't lose anybody. Gosh, four kids are tough, especially when Tysen just won't give Mommy a break.
