Thanksgiving 2014

Our Thanksgiving started off with a chilly race. Alexa, Gavin, Tysen, and Bowen all ran in the tot trot. They looked so funny with their tee shirts over their big, puffy winter coats!

The kids are showing off their finishers medals. Tysen is sad because he was lost briefly in the massive crowd and it really scared him. 

Alexa had told her teacher that we were running in a turkey trot and her teacher told her that she was also running in a turkey trot, but in a different city. Once we  finished, Alexa wanted me to email her teacher this picture. 

We can all agree with this bib. We are so thankful for Baby Erika.

Snowflake cookies

Such a simple but tasty kid-friendly activity. Google "snowflake tortilla cookie" if you want specific instructions. 

Only 4 ingredients: flour tortillas, melted butter, sugar, cinnamon. 

Halloween 2014

Alexa and Gavin had fun making a creative design with their candy. 

They got this disguise while trick-or-treating. It actually works pretty well! I have to look very carefully to tell which kid I'm looking at, especially since they are all dressed alike!
