Waffles
Alexa helped make breakfast on Friday morning. She added all the ingredients into the bowl and stirred the batter. Gavin assisted by watching the indicator on the waffle maker and telling me when it turned from red to green. I used the kitchen scissors to cut their waffles into sticks and then poured their syrup into cute cactus shot glasses so they could dip. What a fun way to start the morning!

5/18/2012
I had the day off work on Friday so I decided to get the kids out of the house. Our first stop was my hospital. I took the kids in to the pharmacy to say hello to my coworkers and to introduce them to Bowen. Then we went to Target to get a new sprinkler. Since they were being so good (with only a few little bribes as seen below: pinwheels and drinks) I ended up taking them all to OSU to visit Daddy at work. He enjoyed seeing the kids and showing them off to his coworkers.
Going out in public with 4 little kids is very unpredictable, but I was especially proud of how they behaved overall.

Sandbox
Alexa and Gavin were so excited to have a sleepover at Grandma and Papa's house. I can only think of two other times that they spent the night away from us and that was when Tysen and Bowen were born. They enjoyed playing in the sand and getting really dirty!

Fun with Paint
I prefer to let the kids paint with washable paint outside so that I can clean up with the garden hose!
