Since I have to work on Christmas this year, we will not be able to spend Christmas with our families in Iowa and Nebraska. My mom decided celebrate Christmas on Saturday and spoiled her grandkids with way too many new toys!
Richard and baby Hudson (Alexa and Gavin's newest cousin)
Gavin figured out how to unwrap, too!
Gavin's adorable Superman Build-A-Bear.
Look at those 3 teeth! He's got 2 more just breaking through the gums so he'll have 5 teeth total in about a week.
Alexa loves her new Ernie doll! She was so excited! She looked at him and said, "Where's Bert?"
That's my mom's golden doodle, Kaylee-dog.
Alexa and her cousin Masen are still opening gifts!
Wow! A new Cabbage Patch Kid! I had a ton of these when I was a kid. It's amazing to me to see Alexa starting to like to play with the same toys I remember growing up with.
Since Alexa is potty-trained now, my mom took the doll's diaper off and put big-girl panties on her so that they could be matching!
Alexa and Aunt Tianna
Aunt Kara bought the kids really nice books.
Looking at her new Nemo book
Alexa and Masen got along really well and shared their toys better than most kids their age! We were proud of them.
Alexa loves dogs!
They are waiting and watching for the rest of our guests to arrive for Thanksgiving lunch.
My mom really surprised Alexa, Gavin, and Masen with this new toy! Luckily this toy stays at Grandma's house! There was no way it was going to fit in our car, especially with all the other stuff she got them!
Grandma loves toys just as much as the kids do!
Masen didn't really want Alexa to ride the horse at the same time.
Our own little drummer boy!
We went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. It's unusual for the weather to be so nice at the end of November.
Alexa and Aunt Kara
My cousin, Daniel, came over for lunch and brought his two kids. This is Landon, he just turned a year old in October.
