We are definitely getting in the Christmas spirit already! Tonight we went with our friends, Lauren and Truitt, to see the Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo! The zoo was decorated with millions of bright Christmas lights! It was a nice evening to go, with a temperature of 48 degrees. If you wait until the end of December to go, you never now how cold it will be or how much snow you'll have to walk through!
Such cute kids all staying toasty warm while watching the Wildlights Show!
I am laughing right now as I look at Alexa's outfit! I dressed the kids in their pajamas thinking that we were just going to be pushing them around the zoo in the stroller where they'd be bundled up. I didn't realize there was a petting zoo. Of course Alexa had to get out to see the goats! I just like to dress the kids in their pajamas when we go out at night because they always fall asleep on the car ride home and it's so much easier to just carry them to their beds and not have to wake them up.
It took awhile for Alexa to warm up to the goats at the petting barn. I was surprised that she was so timid since our dog is much bigger than these little goats!
She's brushing the goat with a comb.
We spent a lot of time in the aquarium gazing at the fish swimming. It was really relaxing and warm in there! We hung out in the aquarium until the zoo closed. What a fun evening! We'd like to thank our friends, the Sankey family, for inviting us and using their zoo membership visitor passes so that we were all able to have free admission!
