Alexa got two of the same cats for birthday presents. She loves them! I asked her if she was going to be a Cat Lady when she grows up and she yelled, "Yes, I am!" To make it even more interesting, she told Daddy later that she was going to be a football player, too.

Gavin is learning to walk!

He's thinking about taking a step!

Taking a break

Alexa is sleeping in a big-girl bed now! Saturday night was the first time she slept in it. I thought she would probably roll out in the night or get up and come into our room, but she didn't! She is also wearing her underwear all night, too, without any accidents. I can't believe how fast she potty-trained.

Waiting for Mommy and Daddy to get their roller blades on

It was a beautiful, sunny (but chilly) Sunday morning so we took the kids out for some fresh air. They stayed nice and warm in their Bundle Me sacks.

Gavin loved the ride and Alexa fell asleep.

Alexa looks so different with her hair pulled back into pigtails! I think she looks older. Now she looks like a 3 year old!
This was Mommy's rocking chair when she was a little girl.

Alexa is looking out her bedroom window and watching Daddy mow the backyard.

Taking a few more steps! Go Baby Gavin, Go!

I always wanted to dress them alike, but I don't get the opportunity very often since I have a boy and a girl. I couldn't resist the Elmo tee-shirts that I found at Old Navy.

He's finally starting to feel better from the ear infection. Hopefully he'll stay fever-free so that he can return to daycare on Monday and Daddy won't have to miss another day of work.
