After work today, I stopped at Once Upon a Child (a gently used baby/children's store) and found Alexa a cute toy train that she can ride on. On the ride home from daycare, I told Alexa all about it. I don't think that she understood, but she was saying, "Choo Choo!" I had the train set up in the living room and when we entered the house she saw it right away and ran to it. She immediately climbed on and went for a ride. Then she started checking it out and discovered that the roof comes off the caboose. She put her sippy cup in there. We tried to fit Gavin in the caboose, but he was too big. When he gets a little bit older, he can sit on the top and they can both ride it.
Daddy and Gavin are watching Alexa ride the train up and down our sidewalk.
Gavin is enjoying peaches before bedtime.
