Alexa and Gavin's daycare had a fun carnival this weekend. They had fun games, fitness activities, fire safety with the New Albany fire department, food, and prizes.
Alexa tried the putt-putt once or twice. Then she started swinging the club around and almost whacked another child in the head. Maybe Alexa should have the foam golf club...
Did you notice Alexa's monkey on her back? It's something new that we are trying. To Alexa, it's just a monkey backpack, but the monkey is a harness and the tail is like a leash (although I hate to call it that!). We are trying to find a solution to the problem of Alexa running away from us, especially now that Gavin has outgrown his infant seat. It used to be that when I was picking the kids up from daycare and Alexa would get away from me, I could set Gavin's infant carrier on the ground while I caught up with Alexa. Now that Gavin is in his big-boy car seat, I have to carry him plus the diaper bag, so it would be really nice if Alexa would learn to walk beside me!
