After church on Sunday, we took the kids to the New Albany library. Alexa immediately noticed the huge stuffed bear sitting in the window. What a beautiful library! I can't believe I waited this long to go check it out. They have a wonderful family room that is perfect for our kids. The room is enclosed with walls of windows so I didn't have to worry about them being noisy, but I could also see out and watch other people. The family room was also equipped with lots of toys, puzzles, a kid-sized table and chairs, stuffed animals, bean bag chairs, and most importantly- tons of kid books! Alexa picked out one titled "Too Many Frogs." I also appreciated the comfy chairs and sofas for the parents. We left with several books and even a DVD (Beginner's Yoga for Dummies- for myself).

Here is Alexa playing quietly while I read a new book.

Okay, I think this is the messiest she's ever gotten during supper. She was actually patting applesauce into her hair.

I asked her, "What happened to your hair?" and this was her response.

Gavin is working on crawling.
(Daddy says, "Look! He pooped a lion!")
