This morning, we participated in a charity bike ride called Pedal for Pets. Matthew rode the 40 mile ride and then afterwards we all rode the family ride. The family ride was only 2 miles, so we went on farther and stopped at a park and then went on to Easton.
I've never seen her so excited about a banana before!
Just after I took this picture, she let go of the chains and she fell through the center of the tire swing flat on her back. She immediately started crying, probably because it scared her more than anything. I picked her up and brushed all the mulch off her back and started walking away. Then she threw even a bigger fit because she wanted to get back on the tire swing. So this time we both got on. It's been probably 20 years since the last time I was on a tire swing.
Now she's swinging on the big-girl swing. This is the first time unless she has been on the swings at daycare. I was relieved that she didn't let go this time!
