We went out to celebrate New Year's Eve at the Columbus Zoo. They had a special event called Wildlights and the zoo was decorated with millions of colorful Christmas lights. It couldn't have been a more perfect evening to go because it was over 60 degrees out when we got there- in December!!! It felt really great to get out of the house and walk. Plus, it was warm enough that I wasn't worried about Tysen getting too cold. He slept through the whole thing! We went with our friends Kara, Travis, and Emme and afterwards they came back to our house to welcome 2011.
We let the kids help make our homemade pizzas. They had a blast and the pizzas were really yummy!
I think I just caught Alexa sampling some of the toppings!
It was a really fun evening. Gavin crashed around 10:30pm, but Alexa and Emme stayed awake with the adults until after the ball dropped.
