Tysen was baptized at St. John's Church at Creighton University on Sunday, January 16th. St. John's will always be a very special place for us because this is the church that Matthew and I were married in and also where all the children and I were baptized.
It was a very exciting day for our family because it was also Gavin's 2nd birthday. We were happy to share the day with so many of our friends and family.

Tysen was baptized by Fr. Bert Thelen. He is the same priest that baptized Alexa and Gavin.
It's a good thing Brian was there to help light the baptism candle. Another thing that I love about this picture is how beautiful the stained glass windows look in the background.

We tried to get a good family picture...
...and we were unsuccessful. It's so hard with 3 little ones!
While we were distracted and posing for a picture with my dad and Diane, Alexa saw an opportunity to go for a swim in the baptismal pool. I was so glad that my sister, Kara, was quick to grab her! (Have I mentioned how much my kids love the water?!)
