I took the kids rollerblading this afternoon. They enjoyed the ride and I enjoyed the exercise.
Alexa and Gavin got new Keens! Matt and I think these are the best summer shoes ever. They are great for kids, too, because they are so versatile. They are perfect for the water, hiking, and playing because of the covered toe. They work for daycare as well. Some daycare centers don't allow open toed or backless sandals for safety reasons. Keens have an antibacterial sole so you can wash them in the washing machine and then let them air dry and they never get stinky! Since Gavin has been wearing his, we've noticed that he's walking so much better and we think it is because of the rounded toe that slightly curves up. We think that he's tripping less because his toes aren't catching on anything.
