We went to the Easter Egg Hunt in New Albany this morning. It turned out to be a bad experience and I doubt we'll go back next year. I was shocked by how crowded it was and also by how rude many of the parents were. They were all so concerned about their child getting the most eggs. Unfortunately, by the time we got through the crowd, there weren't any eggs left for Alexa and Gavin to find. I felt really sad watching them walk around swinging their empty baskets. At least they are too young to understand and I don't think they were disappointed. A volunteer noticed that they didn't get any eggs and she dumped a bunch near where we were standing so Alexa collected some and also helped put some in Gavin's basket. We are going to do our own egg hunt at our house tomorrow morning and there will be plenty of eggs for Gavin and Alexa to find.
