Back in
February of 2007 when I found out that I was pregnant, I was so excited and couldn't wait to start buying things for our new baby. I drug Matthew into Once Upon a Child. He was annoyed and complaining that we shouldn't waste our money buying clothing because we didn't know if we were having a boy or girl. While I was busy looking at all the pink outfits (I was sure I was having a girl!), I sent Matthew off to pick out something for the baby. I told him that if he picked something out, we could leave. He came back a few minutes later with this red and orange Hawaiian boy outfit. I wasn't sure that I liked it, but we bought it and left. It turns out that I was right, we did have a little girl- Alexa! The Hawaiian outfit was packed away with some other boy clothing I had (just in case) and put in storage. I forgot all about it until last week. I pulled it out and seeing the bright print brought back all those memories. I put it on Gavin this morning and it fit him perfect. He looked so handsome!
