Matthew competed in the Wendy's Triathlon this morning. He started off with a 1/2 mile swim in Alum Creek, then biked 19 miles, and finished stong running 3.1 miles. His total time was 1 hour, 42 minutes. Congratulations, Matthew! You are awesome!
This is the spot along the beach where Alexa, Gavin, and I waited to cheer for Daddy as he finished the swim portion. It was a beautiful morning, but I bet the water was still really cold.(A sign posted showed the water temperature was 68.4 degrees.)

Then we found a nice shady place to watch all the bikers go by. Gavin had a great time laying on his blanket and watching all the action. Alexa just wanted to run around and chase after some dogs that were being walked by their owners.
