On Saturday morning, I went to an event called "Baby Boutique." It was basically a HUGE garage sale of only baby & kid stuff all under one roof with hundreds of vendors. It would be an understatement to say that it was packed with hundreds of parents scrambling to get cheap used kid stuff. I'd like to give a special thank you to our friend Susanna for coming over to our house and watching Alexa and Gavin so that I could go. (Matt had a bike race Saturday morning.) If she hadn't offered to baby-sit the kids, I wouldn't have gone because I knew it would be too packed to push a stroller and with my hands full, I wouldn't have been able to look at anything. Not to mention that Alexa would have gotten fussy after a few minutes. So thank you, thank you, Susanna! I had a blast. I went looking for a bargain on a Little Tykes picnic table for Alexa. Sadly, I didn't find one, but I did come home with a few bags of cheap baby clothes and some Elmo finds for Alexa. She was so excited. I got her the Elmo swimsuit with matching sarong, a plush Elmo that laughs and talks, Elmo pajamas, and a few Elmo books.
We are on our way to the community pool for the first time this season. Alexa is just excited to be wearing her new swimsuit.
Daddy and Alexa are waving to Mommy, but Alexa is too excited to look at the camera for long.

The water was really cold!
Even though the water was freezing, it didn't take Alexa long to jump right in.
She's having so much fun!
Gavin's enjoying this, too.
As Alexa was walking out in the shallow end, she slipped under and Daddy quickly saved her. It surprised her, but she didn't cry and continued to walk around.
I put Gavin's legs in the water and he didn't like it so much.
Alexa is walking around the perimeter of the pool saying hello to everyone.
