We love it when the children play nicely together. Gavin happily lets Alexa rest her book on his body.

Look how big I am getting!

He was sitting up unassisted for a brief moment....then he fell over.

We took the kids to see Tour de Granview. It was a criterium bike race. We found a nice shady spot on a corner and Alexa got excited every time the bikers whizzed by.

We met up with our friend, Andrew.

Alexa is waiting for the bikers to come back around. Each loop was approximately one mile and they had to complete 45 of those!

She's very excited!

They were gone in a flash.

This video is very short because I stopped recording when Matt said Gavin's chin was fat. I didn't want to post this video, but Matt thought it was so hilarious and he made me do it.

We are watching it storm from our front porch. Alexa loves rain and wind. She's reaching out trying to touch the rain and so excited when a gust of wind blows a mist in our faces.

6/21/2009 Happy Father's Day!

Alexa was very excited to drag around the bag containing Daddy's present.

We love you, Daddy!

What a good helper.

We got Daddy a special pair of Keen's that will clip into his clipless bike pedals. He's been wanting them for a long time.

This is Matthew's second Father's Day.

These gifts are so precious!

We had a wonderful day. We all went to the pool and had a relaxing time. Then we had to take a bike ride so that Daddy could try out his new shoes. He loves them and says that they work really easy with his bike. We started on the Olentangy bike trail at Antrim Park and headed north. We stopped for a late supper at The Rusty Bucket and then had to ride back to our vehicle in the dark! At least we were on a trail and didn't have to worry about cars not seeing us.

Gavin's picture has arrived! It's been added to our "Hall of Fame!" We plan to get a picture taken of each of our children at 4 months to add to the collection.

I was out shopping today and found these. I guess you could call it an impulse buy.

This is Gavin and Alexa's new chair. It's great because it is meant for both infants and toddlers. It acts as a bouncy seat/entertainer for Gavin and then the toy bar can be removed and it is a rocking chair for Alexa. It's perfect for her, too, because her feet can touch the ground.

Gavin loves it.

Gavin is telling me to quit taking pictures and get a bottle ready.
