We took the kids to the circus this evening. Alexa and Gavin were very excited to see the elephants and tigers. I had planned on letting Alexa and Gavin have an elephant ride, until I found out it was going to cost $30! Luckily the kids were happy with just seeing the elephant up close, and Alexa stood near the gate and waved as the elephant walked by.
Instead of buying popcorn for the kids, I had filled our diaper bag with baked cheese puffs. The kids loved them and they were much healthier than the popcorn (and much cheaper, too!).
Tysen was a good boy. He didn't mind all the noise at all. In fact, after his bottle, he fell asleep for the rest of the show.
Forget about the $30 elephant ride! My kids were thrilled with the free balloons that a clown gave them! Alexa looks absolutely in love with her balloon in the picture above! Then when it popped about 10 minutes later, she was devastated and burst into tears. The people sitting next to us felt sorry for her so they gave her their balloon. That cheered her right up.
Those guys above are doing a daredevil act on the "sway masters." They weren't very good and I was so nervous that one of them was going to fall that I couldn't watch!
Alexa and Gavin are playing with their free balloons at home. According to them, the balloons were the best part. Next time we'll just save a bunch of money and blow up lots of balloons at home!
