This evening after Alexa's bath, I decided to blow dry her hair. While I was drying it, I brushed it to smooth out her fuzzies. I couldn't believe how it turned out. She's always had gorgeous hair, but her straightened locks completely changed her whole look. She looks so much older now. I look at her and feel like I can see what she'll look like as a teenager.

He's trying to dip his head in the water!

She likes to lean back and get her hair wet. I have to stay close because occasionally she'll flip over backwards!

He likes to be free to roam around in the water without the float, but I have to watch him like a hawk because he has no fear. He walks deeper and deeper until he loses his balance and goes under. Even then, that's not enough to scare him- he continues to go deeper!

Alexa's giving little brother kisses.

It's so cute how her hair curls up into ringlets after her bath. She has the most beautiful hair I've ever seen on a child.

Today is a special day. It is Gavin's 18 month birthday!

Poor little guy has an ear infection, though. He's had a cold for the past 3 days with a cough and runny nose. This afternoon I noticed drainage running out his right ear and down his face. That just means that his tubes are working! He doesn't seem uncomfortable at all, he hasn't even been pulling on his ear. We started his antibiotic ear drops and hopefully it will clear up soon.

I found this Blues Clues costume at the thrift store this weekend. Alexa threw a fit this morning because I wouldn't let her wear it to daycare (I was afraid she'd get too hot!) so as soon as we got home, I let her put it on. Now she's watching Blues Clues on television while I make supper.

Gavin tries to imitate everything that Alexa does. It's really cute until Alexa does something naughty and then Gavin copies her.

I was finally able to fix my sewing machine this weekend and I made a few more bibs for Gavin.
