Lifetime Indoor Triathlon
I recently competed in an indoor triathlon at my gym with a few of my roll: teammates. It worked out perfectly because although Matt was out of town for the whole weekend, my kids could play in their Kids Klub while I swam, biked, and ran.
An indoor triathlon is a little different because we have set times to swim, bike, and run and we earn points for the distances we get for each to determine the winner. At this triathlon, we swam for 20 minutes, biked for 30 minutes, and ran on a treadmill for 20 minutes. There were event staff people walking around to record our distances.
Ladyrollers! (Michelle NB and Lynne were in an earlier wave than Michelle D, Siobhan, and I so they stayed to cheer us on. Actually, they would look at my distance and then say to Michelle, "She's beating you! Better push it!" And vice versa, lol.)
All finished! I found out later that I took 4th place in women.
Then I picked up the kids and took them swimming. They loved that, especially Erika.

I can't keep socks on this little girl! She puts her feet to her mouth, bites her sock, and then pulls the sock off her foot using her teeth. She's so silly.

The older four kids got out to explore the pond's edge for frogs.
Gavin's first lost tooth
He is so excited. He said that his friends will notice how different he looks at school. The tooth fairy left him $3 under his pillow.

My little artists
The kids spent the afternoon painting on our front porch.
