Nature Walk

It was a beautiful Thursday morning. The boys and I had just walked Alexa to the bus stop and waved goodbye as she went on her way to school. I had wanted to go to the gym that morning and get a workout in, but I still had about an hour before Kid's Klub hours began (the gym's child care) so I decided to take the boys to a nice park near the gym. We had a great time and it was wonderful having the whole place to ourselves while we explored. 

Notice Bowen's wet pants? All the slides were covered in dew still! My boys did a great job drying off all the playground equipment with the seat of their pants!

The boys ended up getting so wet and dirty that I had to take them all home, give them baths, and change their clothes before I could go workout. It was worth it, though. Special memories with my little guys....

Today was Alexa's first day of school, and since I was a little bummed about it, we decided we better find something fun to do.  The boys and I had our first trip to the zoo without Alexa.

It was a very fun day.  I did miss Alexa tons, but I am so proud of her at the same time.

The boys and I had a fun day at the zoo while Alexa was at school.  I missed her tons.  The boys and I are waiting for the school bus pull up so we can see our princess and hear how her first day was.

Waiting patiently....her bus was an hour late dropping off.  I hope it was only because it was the first day.  If it keeps happening, I think we will start picking her up from school.

Gavin is a little jealous that he doesn't get to go to school.

She's here!  She had a great day.  She made lots of friends, but she forgot all their names already!  She likes her teacher and she loved her lunch that I packed.

I took this video once we got home.  Alexa was a little excited and hypered up after her long day.  She was so funny when I asked her about P.E. class tomorrow.  She thought I said "peeing class" and she was so confused!!!
