We are waiting at the airport for Grandpa and Grandma. We have been looking forward to their visit for a long time!

Gavin was a newborn the last time Grandma got to hold him. He's gotten so big!

Alexa is really excited they get to spend the whole weekend with us.

Tonight we took the kids to another Clippers baseball game at Huntington Park. Matthew was able to get us really good tickets through Ohio State Sports Medicine. The tickets were given to the people who volunteered for Pelotonia (the bike ride to raise money for cancer). We were excited to discover that the tickets were box suite seats complete with free food and beverages. We also got free reserved parking across from the ballpark. This was the most fun I've ever had at a baseball game!

The Columbus Clippers mascot, Krash, came up to meet Alexa! She wasn't sure what to think about him!

Matt, our friend John, and the kids pose for a picture with Krash.

The rest of the evening Alexa was on the lookout for the bird.

After the game, fans are allowed on the field to run the bases. Alexa ran from first to second, but then wanted to be carried the rest of the way. Here we are nearing home plate.

Alexa liked the dog. She gave him kisses and patted his nose.

I love coming home from work and seeing how excited the kids get!

Alexa is coloring in her giant coloring book.

We are enjoying this relaxing, long weekend!

Ohio State football season has begun!

Watching the game on television

Touchdown!

Gavin has recently learned how to clap his hands together. It's adorable to see how proud he gets when he figures it out.

Alexa is sleeping in her big-girl underwear!
Gavin is ready to go to daycare. We are all so happy it's Friday!

The whole family went out Friday night to do some shopping and eat out. We decided to try eating at a restaurant that we've never been to before and it turned out to be a really good experience. We ate at Joe's Crab Shack. I've always avoided that place because I won't touch seafood, but they had a few chicken or salad choices that I could pick from. Matthew was really happy with his Alaskan crab and shrimp bucket. Alexa's favorite was the corn on the cob. Gavin had fun playing with a spoon!

During supper, Alexa started saying, "Hurry! Hurry!" Matthew and I looked at each other and we both shrugged our shoulders because we didn't know what she meant. Then I asked her, "Do you have to go potty?" And she shook her head yes, so I hurried her off to the women's restroom. I thought that she might be hesitant or scared in the stall especially since she is used to sitting on a child's potty seat. I had to help hold her up so that her bottom didn't fall through! She amazes me everyday. She peed right away. Then she started dancing to the music that was playing over the speakers. I am so proud of her.

Everyone but Mommy wore a bib!

Afterwards we went to Border's and Alexa had a blast looking at all the books. She was making messes faster than I could straighten up. She likes to touch everything and most of the books ended up on the floor. While we were there, I took her to the bathroom again because she had drank 2 glasses of milk during supper. Sure enough, she peed again. She kept her diaper dry all evening!

We also went to Buckeye Corner to get the kids special game day outfits. We are excited to watch OSU's first football game of the season tomorrow.

Alexa's first pigtails!

She looks so different without all the poofy curls!

Although she doesn't look happy here, Alexa is doing great with potty-training. She used the toilet 3 times today at daycare and for the past 3 nights at home she has had no accidents! Way to go, Alexa!
