While in Nebraska during our vacation, we stopped at Creighton to walk around campus. It was fun to show the kids where we went to college and also where we met each other. They just wanted to play in the water, though!
This is beautiful St. John's Church where Matthew and I were married. This is also where Alexa and Gavin were baptized as newborns. While we were walking around, we ran into Father
Schlegel and had a nice chat with him. He is the president of Creighton and also the priest that married us. It was great to see him again and we were thrilled that he remembered us.

Alexa and Gavin went to their first air show at Offutt Air Force Base. Grandad Briggs was our tour guide because he knows everything about all the planes. Gavin loved watching and pointing at the planes in the air. Alexa thought they were too loud! Other than it being really hot, it was a fun afternoon!

Alexa kept her hands over her ears for most of the day. I wish that she would have left her ear plugs in, but she kept pulling them out.
